MAGAZINE
ANNOUNCES FIFTH ANNUAL "FAILURE OF THE YEAR" Critically acclaimed
Web magazine names the American Voter as "Failure of the Year"
for 2004
New YorkFailure magazinewww.failuremag.comthe
Web publication covering all things failure, today named the American
Voter as its fifth annual "Failure of the Year™" in a bold commentary
by editor, Jason Zasky.
"We considered
naming the Bush administration as 'Failure of the Year' for the
second consecutive year," says Zasky, "but ultimately decided
that the only thing more embarrassing than the Bush team's performance
in 2004 was the fact that Americans chose to give the administration
four more years."
Failure
magazine's annual "Failure of the Year" debuted in December of
2000 with The Breakdown of the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process.
The next year Failure named Terrorism as "Failure of the
Year" 2001, followed by the Augusta National Controversy in 2002,
and the Bush administration in 2003.
Here is what
the media and critics have said about Failure: The Boston
Globe described Failure as "exquisitely against the grain." "Forget
Forbes and Fortune," said The San Francisco Chronicle, "this is
the best place (and perhaps only) place on the Net to keep abreast…."
AtNewYork.com said, "Smart and savvy describes the content, filled
with lots of historical tidbits that should keep the competitive-minded
winners of the world salivating for more."
Covering stories
large and small, historical and current, Failure and its
nationally recognized writers explore the world of arts & entertainment,
business, science & technology, history, and sports with a bold
perspective that is insightful, informative and entertaining.
