MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES FOURTH ANNUAL "FAILURE OF THE YEAR" Critically acclaimed Web magazine tabs the Bush Administration as "Failure of the Year"

Chestnut Ridge, NY—Failure magazine—www.failuremag.com—the Web publication covering all things failure, today announced its fourth annual "Failure of the Year™" in a bold and eye-opening commentary by editor, Jason Zasky.

"In the four years since we launched Failure magazine, there has always been a lively debate in the office regarding the selection of our annual "Failure of the Year." But this year was different—no debate necessary. Sadly, this year's choice—the Bush Administration—has been, for many months now, a foregone conclusion," said Zasky.

Failure magazine's annual "Failure of the Year" debuted in December of 2000 with The Breakdown of the Israeli-Palestinian Peace Process. The next year Failure named Terrorism as "Failure of the Year" 2001, followed by the Augusta National Controversy in December of 2002.

Adds Zasky, "'Failure of the Year' was created in response to all the year-end interest in recognizing the best of the year featuring everyone best lists. We all have heard the saying, 'those who forget history are destined to repeat it.' Failure is a good teacher."

Here is what the media and critics are saying about Failure: The Boston Globe described Failure as "exquisitely against the grain." "Forget Forbes and Fortune," said The San Francisco Chronicle, "this is the best place (and perhaps only) place on the Net to keep abreast…." AtNewYork.com said, "Smart and savvy describes the content, filled with lots of historical tidbits that should keep the competitive-minded winners of the world salivating for more."

Covering stories large and small, historical and current, Failure and its nationally recognized writers explore the world of arts & entertainment, business, science & technology, history, and sports with a bold perspective that is insightful, informative and entertaining.
