MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES SECOND ANNUAL "FAILURE OF THE YEAR™"
Critically acclaimed Web magazine tabs Terrorism as "Failure of the Year"

Scarsdale, NY — Failure magazine—www.failuremag.com—the Web publication covering all things failure, today announced its second annual "Failure of the Year™" in a bold and eye-opening commentary by editor, Jason Zasky.

"The attacks of September 11 and subsequent anthrax mailings were successful insofar as they reached their intended targets and caused an unprecedented amount of damage," said Jason Zasky, Failure magazine's editor and CEO. "But, in the big picture, the terrorists have failed miserably, touching off an intense international war on terrorism."

Failure magazine’s annual "Failure of the Year" debuted in December of 2000 with Jack Stesney’s feature on the breakdown of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. In its July 2000 launch ‘issue’ Failure dubbed The Battle of Tours (732 A.D.) as the "Failure of the Millenniums" —the most monumental failure of the past 2000 years.

Adds Zasky, "’Failure of the Year’ was created in response to all the year-end hoopla featuring the best of this or that. And, as the saying goes, ‘those who forget history are destined to repeat it.’ Failure is a good teacher."

Here is what the media and critics are saying about Failure: The Boston Globe described Failure as "exquisitely against the grain." "Forget Forbes and Fortune," said The San Francisco Chronicle, "this is the best place (and perhaps only) place on the Net to keep abreast…." AtNewYork.com said, "Smart and savvy describes the content, filled with lots of historical tidbits that should keep the competitive-minded winners of the world salivating for more."

Covering stories large and small, historical and current, Failure and its nationally recognized writers explore the world of arts & entertainment, business, science & technology, history, and sports with a bold perspective that is insightful, informative and entertaining.

Failure Magazine LLC is a privately owned and operated media company featuring Failure magazine™ and FailureWear™, the clothing and merchandise line sold exclusively in Failure’s online store.
